Venice is a magical place, where reality fades into a dream. After reaching the city, you may choose whether to enjoy a bit of relaxation in the apartment reserved for you, enjoying the beautiful view, or go out immediately to admire the colors and liveliness of the Dorsoduro district. If you wish to see the city from a unique viewpoint with your whole family, do not miss the chance for a classic gondola ride on the canals.

Piazza San Marco is one of the most famous squares in the world. To discover its history and secrets, we recommend a visit with a private guide that will also accompany you inside the wonderful Doge’s Palace. In the afternoon, then, immerse yourself in the truest spirit of Venice exploring the narrow streets and bridges: you will discover new views, narrow passages and corners where time seems to have stopped. And at sunset it is time for dinner: stop in one of the many "bacari", the typical taverns, where you may taste the "cichetti" with a good glass of wine.

For your last day in the Lagoon City we reserved for you an entertaining activity for the whole family: learning the ancient techniques of making carnival masks and the many related and interesting facts. You will also have a chance to put yourself to the test by making your own mask. In the afternoon, head for the island of Giudecca: you can reach it in a few minutes by boat from Piazza San Marco where you can breathe an intimate and quiet atmosphere. For your last dinner in the city, do not miss some of the traditional dishes such as sardines in saor or whipped cod.

Included: carnival mask workshop

It is time to say goodbye to the Lagoon City: the images and colors you admired over the past three days will accompany you during your journey on the high-speed train to Florence. A magnificent apartment is waiting for you there, hosted in the historical Palazzo Bombicci, a few steps from Piazza della Signoria. With a short walk you may reach some of the most famous places in the city, perhaps walking on the Ponte Vecchio to enjoy the sunset. For dinner, choose a typical Tuscan tavern to taste some of the traditional dishes, such as the famous ribollita.

To immerse yourself in the most authentic Florentine atmosphere, there is nothing better than a walk all the way to the San Lorenzo Market. Here you will find the best of local creations, including leather goods, ceramics, clothing and stationery. We also recommend that you stop for lunch inside the nineteenth-century building. There, you will find food stalls, typical products and gourmet specialties. In the afternoon, the Boboli Gardens, which the locals deem a true refuge from the bustle of the city, will offer you a place where to relax.

You may be a bit sad about leaving Florence but remember that the wonders of the Eternal City await you. Relax during your journey on the high-speed train, so you will be ready for your first stroll downtown Rome. From the apartment booked for you, you will be very close to Piazza Navona and Piazza di Spagna. You will discover the pleasure of walking aimlessly here, where the streets are full of works of art, statues, churches and fountains. Roman cuisine is very rich so, for dinner, choose a typical tavern to taste the local specialties.

Rome is a complex city, which preserves the memory of millennia of history. To discover the secrets of its period of splendor, we suggest that you participate in the optional visit to the Colosseum and Fori Imperiali. Your guide will tell you anecdotes and stories about the life of the time, making your experience truly exciting. At sunset, head to Trastevere. It is a pleasure to walk through its streets and the neighborhood is full of venues for an aperitif or a typical dinner. Once there, do not miss the chance to enjoy the famous carbonara pasta.

For your last day in Rome we planned an interesting and enjoyable activity for the whole family: an “Ape Calessino” ride through the streets of the city. You can admire the most famous places from a unique viewpoint and during the stops enjoy taking pictures of the iconic monuments. The tour ends with a delicious ice cream.

It is time to say goodbye to Rome and Italy, but if you still have some free time before leaving, we recommend visiting the Ara Pacis Museum, a monument built by Augusto in the first century BC and dedicated to the celebration of peace. The museum was designed by the American architect Richard Meier and a multimedia tour will show you the original site. This would be a great way to say goodbye to Rome and Italy, until your next trip.
